A Panel Member is a trained volunteer and decision maker who makes up the Children’s Panel, ensuring the rights of the infant, child or young person are at the heart of every decision.

A Panel Practice Advisor is a trained volunteer who plays a key role in the quality assurance process by providing observations and feedback to Panel Members. They also support the recruitment of new Panel Members and play a key role in their re-appointment
